Living the San Francisco Dream

Halloween Decor in San Francisco

Since I live in a condo in a high rise, there's not much point in having Halloween decor on my door or in a window -- it wouldn't be seen or enjoyed.

However, the stunning over-the-top decorations shown below are seen and are being enjoyed by many.

The cover photo (I love how the skeletons are just hanging out!) and this next one are at a house mansion on Pacific Avenue, along the crest of Pacific Heights.

The next 2 are of a house mansion about a block away, on Broadway. (Those crows are really freaky! and they carried the theme up two more stories.)

The next picture is of a house on Broadway directly across from the other one. Take a look at the cat skeleton. Ewww!

Finally, I met a monster in front of a wine shop one day as I was walking along Van Ness Avenue -- when one least expects it, he removes his head!

Halloween decor - fun for all!

I feel like Halloween is one of the most creative in a lot of places around America and even beyond. Pretty cool!

Hi @Laura - I'm amazed at how elaborate some of the Halloween decorations have become. In other neighborhoods, I still see fake spider webs, Jack-o-lanterns, and ghosts floating around.

Hi Endre Barath, Jr. - not the most flattering of pics of me, but then---it's Halloween. Luckily, recent escrows haven't called for a look a terror!

Love all those skeletons. Very creative decorating. I've noticed some decorations and inflatables in Downtown Parker, but I haven't had time to go down and take photos yet.

Rachael Kendall and I took her dog out for a nice walk yesterday, and saw the ones on Broadway; today my husband and I were driving home from a hike and I snapped the pics of the Pacific Avenue house. (I think they hire professional decorators, don't you??)
