Living the San Francisco Dream

Curbside Cafe-neighborhood bistro in Pacific Heights

Curbside Cafe, Pacific Heights,SFCurbside Cafe is a small neighborhood bistro in Pacific Heights. Located on California Street at Fillmore, it provides a quiet little respite from the hustle and bustle of the exciting neighborhood shopping area in which it is located.

This has been a busy week with all the last-minute details getting a property ready for open houses today and tomorrow. (You can read about the ocean view townhouse here.)

Last night it was time for a nice City walk to enjoy time with my husband. The slightly foggy evening added allure to the night. Up past two of our favorite parks we went, over to the mini free library on Jackson Street where we chanced to meet the woman who installed it there, then down to Curbside Cafe for dinner.

Curbside Cafe is one of our favorites. Service is always good. The ambiance is charming and calming. The food delicious (try the French onion soup, and the pot roast - two of my favorites.)

When you live in San Francisco, delights like these are easy to come by.

Are you ready to move, to live your San Francisco dream?

Lottie, it sounds like a lovely way to end the week, the evening, and prepare for the hustle of hosting an open house this weekend.

I was just sitting here thinking.  I haven't had French Onion soup in years.  I need to fix that one of these days!

Curbside Cafe certainly is that, Ron and Alexandra Seigel - the waiter last night welcomed us with a smile and "welcome back; it's nice to see you again."

George Souto an end-of-the-day walk is how I revive -- heading out soon for another one to unwind after hosting a great open house.

I agree, Chris Ann Cleland - places like Curbside make one feel right at home.

I'm a big fan of french onion soup. We've had a few days where the weather was perfect for soup, or a big bowl of chili. I enjoy fall, but I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to summer.

Kathleen Daniels - keep it in mind and treat your son to a pleasant meal some time; he'll be impressed that you're in the know!

Hi Laura Allen, Lake Tahoe - Truckee Real Estate for Sale www.TahoeLauraLuxuryHomes.com - one of the benefits of Active Rain--we get to enjoy all sorts of areas, all around the country.

You just might be back some day, Nina Hollander - Curbside will be there for you!

You guessed correctly, Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, Broker, Tacoma Washington - walk score ratings are often between 95 and 99/100! One of the many benefits of living here.

Hi Myrl Jeffcoat - French onion soup never really goes out of style, but it's easy to overlook it. A good bowl is oh, so good!

Hi Donna Foerster - French onion soup might be the perfect food to bridge between summer and fall! (warm and comforting, yet clear and not too heavy!)

Lottie

San Francisco is a great city for curbside cafes.

Good luck and success.

I agree, Lou Ludwig - especially with the advent of outdoor space heaters, one can dine in or out!
