Living the San Francisco Dream

head_left_image

Take a look at this face....

For your Sunday pleasure, here's a lovely Victorian house to enjoy.

This house is located on Gough Street in San Francisco, directly across from Lafayette Park. It's an eye-catching house, worthy of a look and a picture.

Now, take a look at the upper window in the second picture.

Stately Victorian on Gough Streetdoggie in the window
This cutie was gazing wistfully at the park, at all the dogs out there enjoying the sun and each other.

You just never know what you'll see when walking around the City.

There are few architectural home styles that I like more than Queen Ann Victorians.  This one is exceptional!

Nicole Doty - Gilbert Real Estate Expert  I had to get you over here to see this one. Which I think is adorable.

Good morning, Barbara Todaro - the Victorian houses are lovely to look at, aren't they?

Hi Laura Allen, Lake Tahoe - Truckee Real Estate for Sale www.TahoeLauraLuxuryHomes.com -- that little dog was looking at the park rather wistfully I thought. Now each time I pass by, I look at the window, but haven't seen him again.

Hi Sandy Padula and Norm Padula, JD, GRI - yes, I imagine that dog eats well

Gough Street is a main route to 101 South; fortunately it has finally been repaved, Ron and Alexandra Seigel

Good morning, Susan Laxson - I love looking at all the Victorian houses, but maintaining them would be something else again.

Hello Myrl Jeffcoat - I like this Queen Anne also; it has lovely lines and appears well balanced.

Hi Tammy Lankford - This puts a spin on Nicole Doty - Gilbert Real Estate Expert 's "animals of the MLS" -- except this house isn't for sale.

Hi Larry Johnston - I'm glad I "spot-ted" your clever quip!

I agree, Lou Ludwig - it's a lovely home, which I never tire of looking at when I walk by.

Hello Silvia Dukes PA, REALTOR, CRS, CIPS, SRES - I love the lines of this house and always glance at it when leaving the park. Easter Sunday was the first time I saw the cute dog at the window. Now I look for him every time!

That a wonderful house, and a great picture. And a cute pooch, too. How neat to have captured that! I can imagine the price if it were for sale! I know where Lafayette Park is!

Lottie Kendall - I love this post!!!

I was so intrigued by the amazing architecture and the details. The designs are exquisite that I completely missed the little doggie in the window on the upper window! I was thinking to myself, perhaps the inspiration for this home came in the form of a wedding cake. It is layered with details to perfection!

Then I looked at the second photo and had to go back to the first one. I didn't even see the dog in the window until you pointed it out!

I love this one Lottie!!! My face went from a scrunched up look paying attention to details to a stress free face of good laughter!!! Thanks Lottie!!!

What a lovely home Lottie Kendall !  It's like something out of a history book, yet it appears so well kept.  The dog in the window is so cute but hanging out that window would worry me.

Posted by Elyse Berman, PA, Boca Raton FL (561) 716-7824 CRS, ABR, GRI,ePR (Best Connections Realty, Inc.) about 3 years ago

Perhaps it's because our real estate is so expensive, but most people take very good care of their homes, likely their biggest asset. The dog didn't appear to want to leap, just watch all the other dogs at the park, a bit wistfully I thought, Elyse Berman

OHhh, Lottie, I loved it and then I felt sad, too!! It's raining cats&dogs here and my girl, Kasda isn't happy that we haven't gone on our usual hike! She is sitting beside me getting petted right now, so I'm typing with one finger!!

Good morning, Gayle Rich-Boxman Fishhawk Lake Realtor (503)755-2905 - I hope you and Kasda got out for a hike yesterday. When we're used to moving--dogs too--it's hard not to do so. Cheers!

Now I look for that sweet little dog every time I walk by the house, Sharon Tara
