Living the San Francisco Dream

Sunday beauty in San Francisco

This afternoon's City hike took us across town, to explore a couple neighborhoods on the west side of Twin Peaks, namely St. Francis Wood (beautiful, enclave, about which I'll write later) Westwood Highlands and Glen Park (look for another post later about this.)

Here are a couple of my favorite shots from this sunny afternoon's walk:

Most colorful house

Best view (yes, that's the Pacific Ocean you see)

Favorite escape to the wilderness

Lottie I don't think I have ever seen a house that looks anything like the one in the first picture.

Lottie,

Thanks for this terrific photo blog of San Francisco!  I love the top photo of solar home with tile steps to front door.  I recall making annual trips to San Francisco for about 10 years in a row and miss my visits there!

Dana Tapia & Lisa Pigott - hi Lisa - people often think the Sunset district of San Francisco is always foggy - not always!

Hello Joan Cox - we're having a spell of gorgeous, warm weather - enjoying the sun and blue skies, but hoping more rain heads our way soon.
