New Heart in San Francisco Discovered

San  Francisco is a town with a lot of heart -

or perhaps I should say - a lot of hearts!

Heart in Presidio Terrace

In the past I wrote about "Hearts for Mother's Day and Every Day in San Francisco" which talked about the Hearts Project that is a major fundraiser for San Francisco General Hospital. You can see some of the other hearts that are on public display in various spots in the City in that post.

Imagine my delight yesterday when I happened across another gorgeous heart, just in time for Valentine's Day. This one is located on the front lawn of a home in the Presidio Terrace neighborhood.

Heart in garden of home

More hearts will be auctioned off next week at the 2016 fundraiser for San Francisco General Hospital. There are some gorgeous ones, and once again many dollars will be raised to support the hospital.

And who knows, perhaps I'll spot some of this year's hearts in places around San Francisco. After all, San Francisco has heart(s)!

--- Come for a visit; Stay for a lifetime!

Lottie

I remember when you wrote about this before - I have a pic of the one at Union Square. Love this one, and how appropriate for Valentine's Day!

Have a great weekend

It's always fun for me to come across a new-to-me heart; some are in public parks and plazas (like the 4 at Union Square); others in front of businesses (Wells Fargo Bank on Chestnut Street) on gorgeous staircases (Lyon St. stairs). This is the first one I've spotted in the front yard of a residence.

Delightful!

I'm glad you enjoy them, too, Grant Schneider , Anna Banana Kruchten and Jeff Dowler CRS

San Francisco always has creative artful souls who come up with these great ideas, Lottie!  I love the scene on those hearts.

That's precious Lotti! We used to have a lot of painted horses here but to see a painted heart around Valentine's Day is extra sweet!

That is so very cool.  I love to take ideas like this to my chamber for fundraising ideas.

Good morning Lottie. What a wonderful program. In some cities there are cows: but I like the hearts.
