Living the San Francisco Dream

Try to be a Rainbow .....

"Try to be a Rainbow in someone's cloud" .... Maya Angelou

Try to be a rainbow...

What a beautiful sentiment to see in the elevator at St. Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco.

It doesn't take much to be a rainbow

... perhaps a simple smile to a stranger

...... or offering a bottle of water and a snack to someone sitting for hours in the ICU waiting room

......... it's not hard to give a food bar to a street person

............ or to say "thank you" to a bus driver

I think that Maya Angelou was on to something!

--- Come for a visit; Stay for a lifetime!

Good morning Lottie. This hospital is very wise to share quotes like this one for people to see and appreciate.

Hope all continues to go well with the recovery.

Good morning Lottie. Sadly, there are those who just like to rain all over everybody's parade. Being a rainbow is much better.

Roger D. Mucci - when you're feeling like a cloud, a hope a rainbow appears in your life!

Michael Thornton - we can spread fear and gloom, or hope and cheer - our choice.

George Souto and Bob Crane - I hadn't seen that quote before, either. Love it!

Lottie - It sure is better to try and be a rainbow that to join others in the clouds. Maya Angelou sure had a way with words.
