Living the San Francisco Dream

This week's favorite SF condo

Today I stepped away from my income tax preparation and previewed a condo at 1650 Jackson Street, in San Francisco. This is one of my favorite condo buildings in the area, and this particular unit, #706, is one of the best.

My guest blogger is sharing her opinions here, and I must say I heartily second them. Read what she has to say:

View from balcony of 1650 Jackson #706

"Viewing 1650 Jackson #706 was a real treat.

1650 Jackson #706This charming 1 bedroom, 1 bath features a gas fireplace, an updated kitchen, washer/dryer in unit and a view that just won’t quit! There’s a nook right at the entrance that anyone could get creative with. This particular set up sported a desk and bookcase, making it the cutest work space I’ve seen in a condo.

The bedroom was a good size with bay views and a large closet.

The greatest part about seeing this particular unit was walking out to the balcony and seeing the Golden Gate Bridge, major selling point.

This unit also comes with storage and an assigned parking spot- score!

As a local, I already knew a lot of the perks to living in this particular area. Polk Street is a great street and has just about everything one could want; great restaurants, boutiques and more. Parks are plentiful and Van Ness will take you to just about anywhere you need to go in the city, even making it easy to navigate your way to the 101/bay bridge.

I would say for $749,000 it’s a steal."

Two speedy, secure elevators are ready to take you to the 7th floor - no stairs!

Are you ready for your pied-a-terre in the City? Give me a call and we'll see if this is your spot.

--- Come for a visit; Stay for a lifetime!

What a magnificent view. Love the look of the fireplace and mantle. Seems like a winner that will go fast.

Hi Sheila Anderson - I enjoy reading another's view of places--helps keep my thinking fresh.

Gita Bantwal - it would be a fabulous home for 1 full-time; for 2 on a part-time basis.

Thanks, Sharon Tara - I'd love to help one of my buyers to get this place. It's a great one.

Lottie Kendall - A great post, but I'm still focused on your open line "I stepped away from my income tax preparation".  A good reminder for me to get in a finish my returns too!

Lottie San Francisco is a great place for condo living, especially with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge.  They say NY is a city that never sleeps, but the same could easily be said of San Francisco as well.
