Living the San Francisco Dream

Sharing San Francisco's beauty

This morning I woke, and realized how tired I am. The real estate market has been busy, busy, busy. A good thing, since buyers will soon be settled in their new homes, and sellers can move forward with their lives.

As I sipped my morning coffee, organizing my desktop and preparing for the day, I realized I was smiling at some of these photos taken in February and March on various walks in neighborhoods in San Francisco. Simple snapshots of some little vignettes of beauty that I appreciated then and appreciate now.

Enjoy how the gardens change from mid-February to late March.

Lottie, Thanks for sharing the pictures of the beautiful area you get to work! Do you know what those purple flowers are? We have them here in Atlanta...

You're ahead of us and we have had a long, cold and late spring.  However, sooner or later the Azaleas here are going to pop.

Already my Daffodils have open their smiling faces.

The below is from today.

What a beautiful place to walk & take in the scenery.  It is nice to see the colors starting to come out.

Lottie:  What gorgeous pics ... and flowers.  Here's what I was seeing 24 hours ago out my back door ...

I'm thinking I'm moving out near you ... it looks FAR better!  Enjoy .. and send some of that warm weather Chicagoland's way ...

Lottie - It's amazing how much just a few months can change the landscaping in your area.  The flowers are beautiful!

Roger, it's too hard to stay indoors here in San Francisco. Something always beckons; lately it has been the spring gardens.

Stacey, the purple flowers are wisteria, one of my favorites. Their fragrance fills the air for a week or two; then, we're left with leafy green bowers through the summer.

Lenn, your daffodils are gorgeous. Daffodils are another favorite flower of mine; they typicallly bloom in late February to mid-March in our temperate climes in the SF Bay Area.

Hello John - indeed, the flowers are out and bursting with color!

Gene, I could hardly believe that pic when I spotted it on FB this morning. When spring does finally make its appearance in your area, you will enjoy it more than ever!

Laura, it's always fun to watch the progression of flower blooms from January through April/May. The same holds true with our wildflowers as in these City gardens.

Good morning Lottie. Your photos are beautiful, a much better sight than seeing snow on the ground when I woke up yesterday morning, it was 25 degrees.

Joe, your area has been clobbered this winter--and spring! Soon, though ...

Hello Roy, my photos of gardens don't begin to rival yours, but they make me smile nonetheless. I'll keep snapping away when I'm out and about.

Thanks, Joan!
