Living in San Francisco: the Coastal Trail

This gorgeous Saturday afternoon my husband and I had a few free hours so decided it was time to re-visit one of our many favorite hiking spots, The Coastal Trail between Sea Cliff and Lands' End in San Francisco.

GG Bridge from Lincoln Park, SF

Hiking along the bluffs in T-shirts, enjoying the scenery and the feel of the gentle sun, eyeing blooming wild flowers and listening to the crashing of waves below - to me the perfect way to relax and refresh before a busy Sunday in real estate.

labyrinth along the Coastal Trail, SF

We were not the only people out enjoying the day. It was especially fun to see how many folks, both two-legged and four, had fun at the labyrinth. Discovering a Ropes Course tucked in a nearby forest (and learning that the first Sunday of the month programs are fun for the public), chatting with two wheelchair-bound Vietnam veterans enjoying the views and soft air outside of the VA Hospital, listening to a musician playing classical guitar outside of the Palace of the Legion of Honor - some of the special memories of the day.

Enjoy this little video clip. Perhaps it captures a bit of the feel of the Lands' End Trail (Coastal Trail) and the magic of living here in San Francisco.

--- Come for a visit; Stay for a lifetime!

Lottie  OK, that's it...I've had it!  Tee shirts and on the Land's End Trail.  It's 30° with a chance of snow tonight...plus it's windy!  Enjoy your day

Look at the color of the water. You really do live in a beautiful city, Lottie.

John, maybe next winter I'll head your way for a day or two of snowshoeing or cross country skiing. And you can head this way for trail running and hiking all winter long!

Jane, we both live in wonderful areas. We'll be visiting our Rachael soon, who moved to downtown LA recently. Can't wait.

Debbie, getting outside on a day like today is so refreshing; I try my best to break free from work 1 day a week, or 2 half-days, or whatever the week allows. I'm ready to tackle all sorts of things tomorrow in the wonderful world of real estate.

Good morning, Lottie. I wish I had more time to spend in 'Frisco when I was there last year. Too bad it was such a hurried trip.

Good morning Lottie. Have not been on that trail, but can well imagine how beautiful it must be.

I'm just whetting your appetite for your next visit, Michael!

Joe, next time you're out this way, suggest this trail to your son. It's a classic.
