Living the San Francisco Dream

Living the San Francisco Dream - Issue #3

Today’s issue of Living the San Francisco Dream focuses on the Pacific Heights area of the city. On days like today—warm, sunny and picture-perfect—Pacific Heights draws one like a magnet.

This is the type of day when a picnic lunch at Alta Plaza or a chat with a friend in Lafayette Park is almost irresistible. The calendar might say “February” but spring is definitely in the air.

This neighborhood in the northern part of the city is known for fabulous views, grand mansions, and two recently refurbished and renovated knoll-top parks.

The shopping areas of Fillmore, Union and Sacramento streets are nearby, as is the Presidio, now part of national park system

Lottie  What a great call to action.  What do you do when they 'subscribe'?  Do you send a copy of the blog?  Like minds want to know...

John, I send this out via email every 3 weeks. The first "issue" gave an overview of why Gene and I moved from suburbia to the city and why living here suits us so well; the second focused on the Russian Hill neigborhood. Future email blasts will talk about other neighborhoods, some of the shop keepers & service providers, little neighborhood cafes and restaurants, parks, etc.

I know there are a lot of empty nesters who are tired of having to drive everywhere and maintain a large house and yearn for another lifestyle. I'm here to help them get settled into city life.

Lottie - This is a great way to share what it's like to live in San Francisco and the different areas that buyers are drawn to. Well done!

Laura, I'm glad you enjoyed this. There are many people, often with grown kids who are facing retirement and want a different life-style. Others just want to have a city condo to enjoy as a second home and to share with others. With the email I send out I hope to allay some fears, and share some of the joys we experience living here.
