Living the San Francisco Dream

A balmy January evening in San Francisco

The January full-moon evening was the perfect time to get out for some exercise in lovely San Francisco. The air was balmy, the winds calm, the late afternoon sun sent its rays across the hills, the full moon gradually grew brighter and shone on the water as darkness fell.

January in San Francisco, a fine place to be. When you live your San Francisco dream, it's easy to step out on evenings like this and enjoy the beauty surrounding us.

Lottie, I enjoy seeing your pictures of San Francisco.  The view from Lafayette Park is incredible!!!

By the way, what do you consider "balmy" temperature wise?  50's or 60's?

Sharon and Bruce, I love posting pictures of San Francisco. I'll do another blog post about Lafayette Park soon. And 'balmy' for SF in January - we walked for 2 hours that evening, wearing short-sleeve T-shirts and a lightweight fleece vest, unzipped!

What great pictures, Lottie. You do live in a lovely place.  And isn't the weather grand.

Lottie:  You always post such wonderful and inviting pics!  You're one heckuva cheerleader for the San Francisco area.  They are lucky to have you!

Jane, our weather is too grand, actually. Like you, we need the rain. But--until that happens, I get out and about every chance I get.

Gene, I'm the lucky one, able to live in SF. I truly enjoy letting others who might be thinking of moving here know what we like about city living. I'm ready to help them find a place of their own.

Hi Lottie ~ What beautiful photos in the City -- and a full moon, to boot!  Thanks for sharing your photos, it's always a treat to see San Francisco.

Maureen, come on our to visit our area any time, and if you cared to send some rain our way, that would be appreciated, too. This evening was just as warm and dry--great for walking and running, but not good in the long run. I wear my Active Rain T-shirt every chance I get!!

We have a beautiful sunny day in Maryland but have a winter storm watch for Tuesday with a 100% chance of snow.

Have a great week.

Well, Roy, I hope you bring in some of your beautiful flowers, to bring in some cheer on a snowy, wintery day!
