Living in a condominium on Russian Hill in San Francisco appeals to many.
Russian Hill is a highly desired and incredibly beautiful area of San Francisco. The Hyde Street cable car crosses over it; the twisty Lombard Street snakes down one side; views of the waterfront, the bay, the bridges, the financial district, Coit Tower on Telegraph Hill are eye candy. Proximity to North Beach and the Upper Polk Street neighborhoods is another big plus.
One of the many delightful streets on Russian Hill is Vallejo Street, a street so steep in places that the road stops, replaced for two glorious blocks by staircases for pedestrians.
Near the intersection of Taylor and Vallejo Streets is the tiny brick walkway known as Fallon Place. These Fallon Place stairs lead residents to their condos at The Landmark. The views from many of these units are spectacular, looking easterly toward the financial district, North Beach, Telegraph Hill, the bay and beyond. The on-site parking for residents and guests is an important feature, while the HOA tennis court and view roof deck are added benefits. The Landmark is a pet-friendly building, too!
