Coffee - Some San Francisco Days Just Call for an Extra Cup

Coffee - some days just call for an extra cup.

coffee

Yesterday was one of those days for me as I cleaned out my office to start the new year organized, not weighed down with old paperwork and files, making plenty of space for new transaction and client files.

A cup of home brewed coffee started the day before I jogged down the hill (in the dark!) to an early morning Pilates class at Resolution Wellness. A second half-cup with breakfast after my return finished the pot. After an hour at the computer, I realized I was really in the mood for another one, so I added grounds to the put, read and commented on a few blog posts and went to pour that cup of Joe only to realize I didn't add water to the pot.

Hmmmmm.. time to head to one of the many nearby coffee spots. Within a few blocks, I have my choice of Starbucks, Peet's, or the local It's a Grind less than a 5-minute walk from home.

In San Francisco, it's easy to find that pick-me-up, whether you brew it at home or walk around the corner to say 'hi' to your favorite barristas and treat yourself to a special brew, like my non-fat, sugar-free, salted caramel latte!

Coffee - some days just call for that extra cup!

Good morning, Lottie.... I love my large cup of cappuccino every morning....I look forward to it whether it's on the way to the office or just having a cup at home....

Me too, Barbara--some days more than others. Keep dry and warm today, and enjoy that cappuccino.

Lottie, I hope you did not burn out your coffee maker. I think I have been to all of those coffee shops with my son. It's nice to have a brisk walk in the cold fresh air in the morning - then be warmed up by a cup of Joe.

No harm done to the coffee maker, and I must say my salted caramel latte was a treat!

Lottie, you are spoiled to have coffee shops so near to take a walk and pick one up!   Some days they are needed!
