Living in San Francisco
Enjoying the Cultural Activities at our Doorstep
After spending many years settled in the same house in a nice Peninsula suburban town, in a house with a large (it's relative!) yard, my husband and I decided it was time for a change. The children were grown; our granddaughter was off at college; the yard was becoming a chore instead of a pleasure. I no longer enjoyed climbing on the roof to put up decorations or clean out gutters. In short--it was time for a change of lifestyle.
As lovers of outdoor activities, music of many types, and good food, what was more natural than to sell our house and move to a condo in the heart of San Francisco?
In other posts I've talked about the neighborhoods that give San Francisco its unique flair, and the fabulous walking, jogging and running venues. Today I've touched on some of the cultural activities we now enjoy. Instead of spending hours every week caring for a house that had become bigger than we needed, we have time after our busy work days or on weekends to enjoy some of these San Francisco cultural activities. Our life is simpler and full of fun.
Let me know when you're ready to explore the idea of moving to San Francisco. I'll share more of my story, and help you Live your San Francisco Dream.
