Hi Lottie, it sounds like a fun event for the entire family to visit the museum and meet the artists.

Lottie, I've only been to SFMOMA twice but both visits were memorable. I hope the move will benefit the museum.

MOMA in NYC is one of my favorite museums.  I'm sure I would enjoy SFMOMA just as much.  This sounds like such a great event Lottie.

good morning Kwee - I think it sounds fun, too. We all are sorry SFMOMA will be closing its doors while they expand, but these next few days lots of activities are planned

Nancy, I think the expansion of SFMOMA will be a good thing - it's a well-loved and highly visited museum that has simply outgrown its digs. Plan another visit in a few years and check it out.

Roger, I should visit MOMA next time I'm in New York. Lack of time has kept me away so far.

Hello Lottie -- SFMOMA is a great museum -- what could make it better - a FREE day tomorrow, Sunday, June 2, 2013!  I had forgotten about its temporary closure until I read your post.

Hi Michael - even though it will be closed and out of a home until 2016, it's presence will be felt - already you can see various sculptures along the green in Crissy Field; other exhibits will be popping up in a variety of places around the Bay Area.
