Christmas lights in San FranciscoFor those not quite ready to bid adieu to the color and beauty of the holiday light shows, here's your chance for a unique look at the lights from a slightly different perspective.

Join Discovery Street Tours in San Francisco and learn about the science of light. For about 1-1/2 hours you'll enjoy strolling along some of San Francisco's stairways, side streets and scenic vistas. While enjoying many spectacular light displays and learning about holiday light traditions, you'll be doing hands-on experiments with color mixing, animation and talking about perception and light.

Kathy, if your nephew enjoys slightly different activites, seeing areas in a new light, he might well want to learn about Discovery Street Tours. The holiday lights one is being offered twice more this year, but an upcoming one about rocks sounds equally fun
