Meet The Candy Store, a San Francisco treat!
San Francisco Neighborhoods each have their own delightful charm, and the Upper Polk Street neighborhood is no exception. Located one block east of Van Ness Avenue, near the base of Russian Hill, you'll find a variety of stores to meet your needs. These are not the chains you'll find at a mall but unique-to-San Francisco stores, full of character, owned by and staffed with friendly people who greet you with a smile and make you feel at home.
One delightful shop, located at 1507 Vallejo Street between Polk and Van Ness is The Candy Store, in business for over 5 years. Here you'll discover hard to find artisan confections from around the world, a specialty of The Candy Store. And if you are a licorice lover like me, you'll be delighted with their selection. Their bagged and boxed candies make welcomed gifts, or you can fill gift containers with your favorite candies from from their old-fashioned candy jars.
The Candy Store is open daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. If you aren't lucky enough to be in San Francisco, you'll find their curated sweets in every Target store nationwide now until June 16th. You can even shop The Candy Store online
So go ahead, after walking up and down our San Francisco hills, stop by The Candy Store and say hello to Jessica, Liana, or the owner Diane for a sweet treat. I think you'll be glad you did!
Friendly neighborhood businesses like The Candy Store add to enjoyment of Living My San Francisco Dream
