I've written before about Pat's Cafe, and how much we enjoy eating there, but time flies and it's time for an update. Located at 2330 Taylor Street, between Chestnut and Francisco, this is where I go when a BLT calls me, or some sweet potato fries. Today I enjoyed the Spinach Special Sandwich (spinach, avocado, onions, melted Monterey Jack in pita bread ) - Yum!
This delightful cafe serves breakfast and lunch, and is favored by tourists and locals alike. The good food, easy-on-the-budge prices, the location nestled between North Beach and the northern waterfront, the friendliness of the staff, and the bright atmosphere make one feel at home from the first visit. The walls are decorated with art work by local artists depicting various San Francisco scenes, paintings, photographs, etc. Many of these are for sale, and make nice gifts for yourself or others, a memento of a special "find" in San Francisco.
Much of the special feeling here is a reflection of Pat, the owner of Pat's Cafe. Today I'd like to introduce you to Pat, who will tell you more about Pat's Cafe:
Sometime when you find yourself exploring our city, wend you way to Pat's Cafe - tell her Lottie sent you.
And should you be ready to find your own special place here, whether a full-time residence or a pied-a-terre, let me know and we'll get to work so you can start living your San Francisco dream.
--- Come for a visit; Stay for a lifetime!
