Penguins and Pajamas Sleepover in San Francisco

The San Francisco California Academy of Sciences continues its popular Penguins and Pajamas Sleepover series!

If you're looking for a memorable experience for your children, ages 5 to 17, this one is sure to please the budding naturalist in your family, as well as the ones who love new experiences.

giraffeOnly 1 more opportunity exists this year. Sunday, December 30, 2012 is your last chance this year to spend the night inside the Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park. The evening adventure begins at 8:00 PM. Before unrolling your sleeping bag for the night you can talk with a penguin specialist, listen to the evening birdsong, enjoy an after-hours planetarium show and more. Enjoy an evening snack while listening to a story. A continental breakfast is served before your experience ends at 8:00 AM the next day.

Prices range from $79 to $99 depending on whether or not you are a Member of the Academy of Sciences, and are the same for a child and for the required adult chaperone. You can learn more and book your tickets at the web site for Penguins & Pajamas. Check into membership to the Academy, too, while you're at it.

If you miss this chance, you can try again for the Saturday February 16, 2013 Penguins and Pajamas Sleepover

--- Come for a visit; Stay for a lifetime!
